I recently had the opportunity to do new character headshots for Judy Winnick for her portrayal of Irena Sendler. Unlike a regular actor’s headshot that presents a natural representation of an actor, character headshots are created to show the actor or actress in the portrayal of a general character type, or as in Judy’s case, the portrayal of a specific character.
Judy was interested in creating a character headshot of herself in her role as Irena Sendler, “Angel of the Warsaw Ghetto”. This needed to be something she could use in her performance description for websites like the Chautauqua Speakers Bureau website and also for promotional materials and posters.
Along with the headshots, Judy had me create a promotional flyer and promotional business cards promoting her show. You can see the flyer below her headshots. Take a minute to read Irena’s story. It really is incredible!
